April 4, 2014 Mr. Joseph John Flood,age 77, resident of Cobbtown,Georgia, died Friday morning April 4,2014 at Community Hospice in Vidalia. Joseph was born in Miami,Florida son of the late Harrold and Anne Byrnes Flood. He had retired from the Miami Beach Florida Fire Department and had been a Charter Boat Captain and Commercial Fisherman. Mr. Flood enjoyed working in his garden and he loved to teach his grandchildren how to fish. Mr. Flood had served 2 years in the United States Coast Guard. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Mary Flood.
