2-28-2015 Mr. John Arthur Jones, 64, of Adrian, died Saturday night February 28, after a brief illness at Optim Healthcare in Reidsville, Georgia. Mr. Jones was born in Pinellas Park, Florida, and was a resident of Emanuel County most of his life. He was a retired Master Plumber and a member of Local UA72- Atlanta's Plumber and Steamfitters. He was a lifelong member of Corinth Methodist Church. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his father Harley K. Jones, Sr. , his mother Ida Mimbs Jones, and by a brother, Phillip S. Jones. He is survived by his wife June Campbell Jones, daughter, Heather Cook (Andy) of Adrian, sons Drew Jones(Theresa) of Meeks and Jason Jones(Erin) of Augusta, sisterMarie Ann Amerson(Jerry) of Macon and brother H. Kemp Jones(Irene) of Swainsboro. He is also survived by 6 grandchildrenCheyenne Jones, Kayla Deloach, Stella Marie Jones, Austin Jones, Spencer Williams, and Jordan Jones. Several nieces and nephews also survive Mr. Jones. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. at Corinth Methodist Church with Reverend Tommy Veal and Reverend Jason Owen officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Joe Jackson, Doug Kersey, Eddie Flanders, Billy Freeman, Raymond Wiley, and Randall Meeks. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Corinth Methodist Church Sunday School Class in memory of Mr. John Arthur Jones.
