Mr. John Peter Hicks, 69, resident of Baxley, died Monday in Vidalia.  Mr. Hicks was born in Indiana, son of the late John and Joy Hicks. He owned and operated a marine business.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Diane Farrar Hicks, and 2 brothers.
