John Osborne Brogdon, 100, resident of Swainsboro, died Thursday morning at his residence.  John was born in Suwanee, Georgia  son of the late John W. Brogdon and Corrie Osborn Brogdon. He had lived in Lake City Florida before moving to Swainsboro  14 years ago. He was a United States Navy Veteran of WWII.  John was a sheet metal machinist and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Graveside services with military honors  for Mr. John Brogdon will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 2:00P.M.  from Westview Cemetery  in Atlanta,Georgia .

Survivors include:  Wife -Barbara Brogdon

4 children, 4 grandchildren and 6 greatgrandchildren

brothers -Hubert Brogdon, Oscar Brogdon, and Sam Brogdon

Sisters-- Susie McCollough, , Avie Brogdon Dodd, and Lottie Brogdon

Arrangements are by Tomlinson Funeral Home and Crematory of Swainsboro.
