Mrs. Jo Ann Grube, 83, resident of Canoochee,GA, passed away Friday morning (December 22,2023) at her residence.  Jo Ann was born in Emanuel County, daughter of the late Vernon and Adrice Cooper Braswell. She had worked as a hairdresser for over 20 years and had retired from the Magistrate Court. She was a member of the Canoochee Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxilliary of the Gideons.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jo Ann Grube will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Louis Pearce officiating.  Interment will follow in Eastbrook Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be: Jamie O'Dell, Dwayne Hopkins, Dane Braswell, Jeff Braswell, Jason Wiley, Keith Hopkins, and Brandon Lynch.  Honorary pallbearers will be Gideons.  The Family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home from 11am.until the funeral hour at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gideons International, P.O. Box 365, Swainsboro, GA 30401 in memory of Jo Ann.

Sisters- Gail Smallwood of Stilson, Ga and Janette (Butch) Simmons of Metter, GA
