Mr. Powell was born in Johnson County and had lived in Johnson and Jefferson Counties all his life. He was a retired Farmer and a Methodist. Funeral services will be Friday, June 1, 2012 at 11:00am. in Nails Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Kirk Poole officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
