Mr. James Alva Cowart, Jr. age 67, resident of Waycross , Georgia , died Thursday, September 29, 2016 at his residence in Waycross . Mr. Cowart was born in Savannah, son of the late James and Martha Cowart. He had lived in Waycross for a number of years. He was of the Methodist faith.

Funeral services for Mr. James A. Cowart, Jr. will be held Saturday, October 8,2016 at 1:00P.M. from Hebron Primitive Baptist Church in Garfield with Elder Sam Bowen Officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hebron Church Cemetery Fund C/O John Cowart, 301 Friendship Church Road , Twin City , Georgia 30471 in memory of Mr. James A. Cowart, Jr.
