Smith Funeral Home P.O.Box 515 Wadley, Ga. 30477 Ph. 478-252-5903 November 4, 2011 Mrs. Inez Virginia Whitehead Scarboro, of Wadley, Died Friday morning, November 4, 2011, at Glendale Nursing Home. Mrs. Scarboro was born in Rockledge, Ga. and had lived in Wadley all her life. She was a Homemaker, Mother and a Teacher for several years at Carver Elementary School. She was a member of the Wadley United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for over 30 years and served as a Communion steward. Memorials may be made to the Wadley United Methodist Church; Wadley, Ga. or The Alzheimer's Association, 1925 Century Boulevard Suite 10 Atlanta, GA 30345 Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon at 1:00 pm. in the Wadley United Methodist Church with Reverend Truett Leveritt officiating. Interment will follow in the Wadley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be; Hershel T. Lamb, Jerry Fagler, McKinley Whitehead, Jr., Don Cowan, Grady Underwood, and Miles Scarboro, Jr. She is survived by: a daughter; Daphne S. Sanders of Wadley. 2 Granddaughters: Kailie Dayne Sanders, and Karley Dene' Sanders, both Wadley. 3 Sisters: Geneva Whitehead Lamb, Cora Dell Whitehead Stevens, and Lannie Mac Whitehead Still.
