Mr. Huey Steptoe, 81, resident of Grovetown and former longtime resident of Swainsboro, Georgia passed away at Doctor's Hospital in Augusta, Georgia October 1,2024.  Mr. Huey was born in Meeks, Georgia, son of the late Edward Steptoe and Madie Price Steptoe. Mr. Huey was a contractor and  master carpenter. He built houses all over the area. He believed in quality work. Mr. Huey was a member of Eastwood Church of God and had served the church as Finance Chairman and Sunday School Superintendent and in many other  capacities over the years.

Graveside services will be held on Friday morning October 11, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. from Eastbrook Cemetery with Reverend Andrew Flowers officiating.

2 sisters--Jo Newsome and Diane McCorvey

2 Grandchildren--Renee Cousins and Christopher Steptoe
