Mr. Herschel McKinzie, 74, resident of Swainsboro, died Sunday, February 4, 2018 in Emanuel Medical Center.  Mr. Mckinzie was born in Swainsboro, son of the late George B. McKinzie and Mattie Harrell Mckinzie. He  had lived many years in Florida working for F. W. Woolworth Company. He returned to Swainsboro in 1984.

Funeral services for Mr. McKinzie will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. from the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Louis Pearce officiating.  Interment will follow in Bithynia Cemetery.  The Family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home  Wednesday evening between the hours of 6-8 P.M.

Survivors include-- Wife-- Marilyn McKinzie

Son-- Herschel Franklin McKinzie(Mikki)

Son--Kenneth Alan McKinzie(Jennifer)

Daughter--Denise Anne Lewis(Bobby)

Daughter-- Kimberly June Farrow(Billy)

2 Brothers-- Clifford McKinzie and Herman McKinzie

13 grandchildren and 8 greatgrandchildren
