Mr. Henry Irving Price, 77, resident of Swainsboro, died Sunday morning at Augusta University Medical Center.  Mr. Price was born in Barberville , Florida , son of the late Irvin and Elizabeth McKay Price Bolin. He and his wife Shirley operated a potting soil business for many years. Henry  served in the Florida National Guard. He was called "Davey Price" in the National Guard in reference to his skilled marksmanship compared to Davey Crockett.  He and his wife had done missionary work in Costa Rica for 10 years. Henry  held a Monday morning class at New Beginnings in Christ  and witnessed to many people. Henry was a very unique individual.

Memorial services will be held at New Beginnings in Christ, Saturday afternoon at 1:00 P.M. with Donald Atkinson officiating.

Survivors include his wife-- Shirley Jean Price

daughter-- Kimberly Forstrom(Jack)

2 grandchildren--Brooke Vick and John Vick

2 brothers-- Robert Reed and John Brolin

sister-- Mary Elizabeth McGonigal
