10/29/2013 Mrs. Helen M. Carpenter,72, resident of Swainsboro, died Tuesday morning at Emanuel Medical Center. Mrs. Carpenter was born in Bartow,GA daughter of the late Dan and Grace Wells Martin. She had lived in Swainsboro for the past 5 years. Mrs. Carpenter was District Manager of FHA for many years. Funeral services for Mrs. Helen M. Carpenter will be held Friday evening at 7:00 P.M. from the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Franklin Sasser officiating. Interment will be in Lake Cemetery in Metter. The family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home Friday evening one hour prior to the service.
