Reverend Harvard Hudson, Founder of  THE HUDSON FAMILY, was  pastor of  many churches, an Evangelist with his family's singing ministry, preaching and singing up and down the Eastern Seaboard, and resident  of Swainsboro, died Thursday afternoon in Swainsboro.   Harvard was born in  Oak Park, Georgia, son of the late Mack Hudson and Dora Wheeler Hudson. Reverend Hudson was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Jennell, his  brothers-- Earnest, Newton, Mack, Jr., D.L. and Talmadge, and his sisters- Myrtice Cowart, Annie Hadden, Bertha Ryals, Thelma Hall and Effie Trull.    Reverend Hudson was a  United States Army veteran.

Funeral services for  Reverend Hudson will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. from the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with  Reverend Wallace Smith officiating.  Pallbearers will be grandsons- Steven Hudson, Eric Hudson, Jody Hudson, Racyn Faircloth, Jerrell Whitfield  and Randy Buxton. Interment with military honors will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Dellwood.
