October 13,2015 Gwendolyn D. Lawson, 82, resident of Adrian,Georgia died Tuesday at Emanuel Medical Center. Miss Lawson was born in Adrian , daughter of the late Joseph Chess and Mattie Hutcheson Lawson. She was a graduate of Adrian High School class of 1950. Miss Lawson had worked for Miami-Carey Company for many years. She was well known for her beautiful singing voice and for her love of animals. She was a member of Kea's United Methodist Church. Graveside services for Miss Gwendolyn D. Lawson will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson Hall Durden Cemetery with the Reverend Allen Meeks officiating. Survivors include a niece--Leontine Leader of Adrian.
