Mr. Gladus "Bug" McAlum, 76, resident of Glenwood, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, March 26,2024 at his residence. "Bug" was born in Wheeler County, son of the late John and Hazel Kersey McAlum. Gladus had retired from the timber business. He was preceded in death by his wife Cynthia McAlum a son Roger Brannon, sisters Beth McAlum and Iris Polan.

He is survived by:

Daughter: Heather McAlum

Two Sons: Tadpol and Jody Cooper

Brothers: Comer McAlum and John McAlum

Sisters: Sandra Phillips, Frances Thigpen, Marsha McAlum

Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. from the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home in Swainsboro.

The family will greet friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Tomlinson Funeral Home before the memorial service.
