Mr. Gerald Joe Phillips, Sr. passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023 at his residence.  Mr. Phillips was born in Treutlen County, son of the late George J. and Iris Coleman Phillips.  He had lived in Macon for many years. Gerald worked for Georgia Kraft Paper Company for many years. He was a member of Avondale Baptist Church in Macon. and the Mable Lodge in Macon. Gerald was preceded in death by his son Gerald, brothers Donald and Troy Phillips, and sister Sherry Phillips Davis.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years--Mary L. Phillips

Charles Kenneth Phillips(Jennifer)

Sister- Fran Phillips Braddy(Douglas)

Brother in Law-- BC Davis
