Georgia Lee Anderson, 85, resident of Swainsboro, died Tuesday morning at her residence.  Mrs. Anderson was born in Bristow, Oklahoma daughter of the late Aretis Haskell and Beulah Mizell Johnson.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Merle D. Anderson.   She was a homemaker and a member of Temple Baptist Church in New Iberia, Louisiania. Georgia attended Harvester Baptist Church in Swainsboro.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 27, 2017 in the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home  at 3:00 P.M. with her son,  David Anderson  officiating.  Interment will follow in the Swainsboro City Cemetery.  The Family will receive friends Thursday evening 6-8 P.M. at Tomlinson Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to  Gideons International, P.O. Box 365, Swainsboro, Georgia 30401 in memory of Mrs. Anderson.
