Mr. George Christopher Hunnicutt, 72, resident of Decatur, Georgia, died Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Emory Decatur Hospital.  Mr. Hunnicutt was born in Macon, Georgia ,son of the late George Sidney Hunnicutt and Betty Brown Hunnicutt.  He was a member of the Georgia Governor's Council on Developmental Disabilities, the Georgia Microboard Association and the 315 Project.  He graduated college with a degree in Enviromental Health.  George was a member of Briarcliff Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife-- Martha Jane Jackson Hunnicutt

Daughter--Carrie Leigh Hunnicutt Byers(Jason)

Son-----Christopher Aaron Hunnicutt

Grandchildren---Caleb Jackson Byers, Lillie Catherine Byers, Hannah Leigh Byers, Canaan Rose Byers, Judson Hunnicutt Byers, Joshua Robert Daniel Byers.

Brother in law--- William Dean Synder

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, a memorial graveside service will be held Saturday,  January 30,2021 at 12:00 Noon from Coleman Cemetery in Twin City with Pastor Joy Wilson officiating.   Memorials may be made to L'Arche Atlanta,larcheatlanta.org/donate or 315 Project.com/Hunnicutt in memory of George Christopher Hunnicutt.
