Mr. George Frank Bowen,Sr. 80, resident of Midville,Georgia, died  Friday , October 18, 2019 at Comfort Creek Nursing Home in Wadley.  Mr. Bowen was born in Telfair County,Georgia  son of the late Allen Bowen and Gussie M. Padgett Bowen . He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter-Michele Bowen, granddaughter Maci Lamb, brothers- Jurell Bowen and Reverend William Bowen.  He was the owner and operator of BTS in Midville.  Mr. Bowen was  a member of Faith  Independent Missionary  Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Mr. George Frank Bowen ,Sr. will be held  at 11:00 A.M. Sunday morning at Faith Independent Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Stewart Waller officiating.  Interment will follow in the Midville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Hadden, Quade Kicklighter, Kenneth Cook, Ronnie Hilliard, Dustin Collins, Lenny Collins, and Wade Dixon. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of BTS.  Memorials may be made to Faith Independent Missionary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 274, Midville, Georgia 30441 in memory of Mr. Bowen. The Family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home Saturday evening  between the hours of 6-8 P.M.

Great grandchildren-- Weston Moore, Kiley Arrington, Chloe Moore, Brooks Moore, Wyatt Moore,  Hattie Joe Cochran, Wynn Cochran, Logan Fleming, Mason Fleming, Delaney Carter, and Dee Holland.

Arrangements are by Tomlinson Funeral Home and Crematory of Swainsboro.
