Mr. Gene Hyland Hall, Sr., 83, resident of Wadley, Georgia, died Sunday ,March 13, 2022 at Augusta University Medical Center. Mr. Hall  was born in Emanuel County, son of the late Hillard Wilson Hall and Marie Pierce  Hall.  Gene was a United States Navy Veteran and been employed at Fulghum Industries as a machinist for many years.  He was a member of Wadley Baptist Church. Gene was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Carlene Russell, his daughter, Melissa Hall Beckworth and sister Betty Fulghum.

Private chapel services  were held Friday, March 18, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. from the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with  Reverend David Brown officiating.  Interment with military honors followed  at 4:00 P.M.  in the Wadley City Cemetery.
