Mr. Floyd Franklin Highsmith, 89, resident of Savannah, Georgia, passed away May 7, 2022 in Savannah.  Floyd was born in Metter, Georgia, son of the late Walter Clyde Highsmith and Lillian Rushing Highsmith. Mr. Highsmith  was a United States Air Force Veteran and retired from the Air Force and from AT&T.  He was preceded in death by his parents , his wife Betty Joyce Covenah Highsmith, his siblings- Donald and Jerome Highsmith, Jean Ulmer, and Edna Warren.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 21,2022 at 11:00 A.M. with Chaplain Curtis L. Belton officiating  in the Bithynia Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Grandchildren--Sarah Elizabeth (Chris) Kennard

Darren (Jessica) Willson

Great grandchildren-- Samantha, Madison, Emma, Eliah, Tracy,                                                                                                                          Great nieces and nephews------- Jasmine, Jaden, Jolene Betty, and Jaxson
