JANUARY 27,2012 Mrs. Esther Joyce Stewart, age 53, resident of Swainsboro, died Friday morning at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro. Mrs. Stewart was born in Brunswick, Georgia and had lived in Hazlehurst before moving to Swainsboro 26 years ago. She had retired as a Security Guard and was a member of the Church of the Lost and Found.She is preceded in death by her daughter Layla Dae Stewart. Esther and Gene were married for 26 years.
