TOMLINSON FUNERAL HOME 718 South Main St. Swainsboro, GA 30401 Ph. 478-237-3691 3/23/13 Mrs. Elizabeth Canady "Boots" Wren, age 91, resident of Swainsboro, died Saturday morning in Augusta,GA. Mrs. Wren was a native and lifetime resident of Emanuel County. She was preceded in death by her parents Dessie and Lula Sconyers Canady and her husband Robert Lee Wren. Mrs. Wren was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and was a jewelry clerk before retirement. Mrs. Wren was a treasured jewelry clerk at Stewart's Jewelers for nearly four decades where she met and developed many beautiful friendships along the way. She never met a stranger and truly enjoyed helping select just the perfect items one might be looking for, for friends or loved ones. She believed everyone should be and look their best. She loved beautiful clothes and shoes until the very end and will always be remembered for being so beautifully dressed. Mrs. Wren also maintained her sharp mind and wit to the end and was never too reserved to offer her "best opinion." Saturday, March 23rd, 2013, Mrs. Wren was finally reunited with her one and only daughter, Betty. Making this earthly journey these last 43 years without her was often difficult for Boots. Today, we take great comfort in the knowledge that she is at peace and in a heavenly place that knows no pain and is finally in the embracing arms of her loving daughter who passed so long before her.
