Mr. Dennis Lynwood Rich, 88, resident of Swainsboro, Georgia passed away Monday , February 6, 2023 in Swainsboro.  Mr. Rich was born in Swainsboro, son of the late Elmo Dennis Rich and Lena Mae Black Rich.  Mr. Rich was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Peggy Tapley Rich, son Shane Rich,  brothers Bobby Rich and Wyatt Rich, sisters Patsy Gray and Edith Lyon.  He started Rich's Barbershop in 1962 and was a Master Barber.  He was a United States Air Force Veteran and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Swainsboro.

Memorial services for Mr. Dennis Lynwood Rich will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend David Unkles and Reverend Joe Bedgood officiating. The Family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 6:45 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials for Mr. Rich may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 319 West Main Street, Swainsboro, GA 30401.

Daughter--Sandie Thompson(Lynn), Swainsboro, GA

10 Grandchildren--Amanda Rich, Justin Thompson, Hunter Rich, Nikki Rich, Kaylee Ramirez, Trevor Rich, Caleb Rich, Jade Freeman, Mitzi Edenfield, and Erica Carswell.

Great Grandchildren--Channing Smith, Parker Smith, Ellie Carswell, Marshall Carswell, Adler Ramirez and Amelia Thompson
