David Joseph Mark Bernard, 75, resident of Swainsboro, passed away Sunday March 10, 2024 in Vidalia."Berni " was born in New Hampton, Iowa, son of the late Vincent and Evelyn Patava Bernard.  He was a United States Navy veteran. Bernie was an organist playing the B3 Hammond Organ, and was a skilled finish carpenter. He was the past sole proprietor of Berni's on West Main. Berni was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Donna Bernard Gay.

Sons-- Erick Vincent Bernard, Cutler Scott Bernard, Elliott Fulghum Bernard

Stepson--Cody Robinson

Brothers--Dennis L. Bernard and Vincent E. Bernard

Sisters-- Geraldine Bernard Martinson, Vicky Bernard, Cynthia Bernard Perry
