TOMLINSON FUNERAL HOME 718 South Main St. Swainsboro, GA 30401 Ph. 478-237-3691 March 3, 2014 Mr. Darvin Rountree, age 75, of Kite, Ga., died Monday afternoon, March 2, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Rountree was born in Montgomery County, but had lived in Kite for many years. He was a construction worker and a member of the Kite Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford Rountree, and Madie Phillips Rountree, and a sister, Myrtle Register. Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 11:00 am. in the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Allen Meeks and Reverend Robert Webb officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be; Kelmer Durden, Jr., Steve Meeks, Andy Meeks, Bryce Wilkerson, Keith Phillips and Jeffrey Meeks.
