May 7,2012 Mr. Danny Kirkland, age 58, resident of Midville,Georgia died Sunday May 6, at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. Mr, Kirkland was born in Emanuel County and had lived here all of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Idell Kirkland. Mr. Kirkland was a member of the Summertown Baptist Church. He had been a heavy truck mechanic for Penske Truck Leasing for 15 years. Funeral arrangements for Mr. Danny Kirkland will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Phil Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Kirkland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be : Jody Johnson, Justin Ray, Donnie Kirkland, Steven Thigpen, Jeffery Farmer, R.L. Smith, Tim Moore, and Josh Eastmead,Charlie Kirkland and John Kirkland and Steven Wilcher.
