Mr. Lewis was born in Bulloch County, but had lived all his life in Emanuel County. He was owner/operator of the Food Basket for many years. Mr. Lewis was a United States Air Force veteran and a member of the Swainsboro First United Methodist Church. Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his parents; Waldo and Geraldine Lewis and his aunt and uncle, Jack E. and Armour Davis, and special Mother in law; Naomi "Toot" Boatright. Memorials may be made to the Family or to the Dellwood Baptist Church building fund, in care of Dellwood Baptist Church P.O.Box 222, Swainsboro, Ga. 30401. in memory of Charles Richard " Ricky"Lewis. Memorial services will be Sunday afternoon at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home, with Reverend Joe Bedgood and Reverend Louis Pearce officiating.
