Carolyn Williams Boatright, 76, resident of Swainsboro, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Scott Health And Rehab Center . Carolyn was born in Swainsboro, daughter of the late Felton and Geneva Newsome Williams. She is preceded in death by her husband John Boatright, son James Edward Boatright, brothers Hugh Williams and Larry Williams. Carolyn had retired from the Emanuel County Magistrate Court.  She was a member of Hawhammock Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2023  at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Louis Pearce and Reverend Ray Jenkins officiating.  Interment will follow in the Swainsboro City Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jonathan Edge, Seth Brewer, Jimmy Hadden, Mike Hobbs, Asa Garrett, and Joey Crapps.  The Family will receive friends Monday evening between the hours of 6-8 P.M. at Tomlinson Funeral Home.
