Brenda Sikes Wright, 74, of Cobbtown passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Community Hospice in Vidalia.

Brenda was born on February 12, 1950, to the late Howard and Bettye Haney Sikes of Cobbtown.  Brenda was a lifelong resident of Tattnall County.

At an early age, Brenda developed a love for all animals.  She had a life-long passion for horses but would often tell you about her collection of "stray" cats.  Somehow, they always found her, and she nurtured them back to health.

Brenda was a nurse by trade and spent several years working in the infirmary at Georgia State Prison.  She was accepting of all people regardless of their path in life.  She is survived by her three daughters, Melonie Foskey of Southern Pines, NC, Ahsha "Michelle" Kemp of Metter and Monica Kemp of Cobbtown.  She is also survived by her eight grandchildren who lovingly refer to her as "Ninder" or "MaBrenda".
