Brenda Lucile Lawrence, 59, resident of Gordon,GA, died Friday night at her residence.  Brenda was born in Jefferson County, daughter of the late Junius and Ora Aurelia Marshall Lawrence. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Francis Honeycutt and a brother Bobby Lawrence. She had worked in  Home Health.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. from Smith Funeral Home in Wadley with Elder Tom Akins officiating.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Smith Funeral Home.

Survivors include-- son-- Olin Virgil Cowart, Jr.

Daughter in law-- Bobbie Jo Wilkerson

4 grandchildren-- Brianna Leigh Cowart, Dylan Trey Cowart, Juliana Lyn Cowart, Olin Virgil Cowart, III

3 sisters-- Sybil Turner, Adell Black, Judy Tuten

7 nieces and 4 nephews
