Mrs. Bobby Jean Meeks, age 79, of Swainsboro, died Tuesday evening, January 12, 2016 at University Hospital in Augusta .

Mrs. Meeks was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be Friday at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral, with Reverend Allen Meeks and Reverend Gary Stanford officiating.

Interment will follow in the Eastbrook Cemetery .

Pall Bearers will be; Cameron Smith, Clay Smith, Steve Meeks, Andy Meeks, Kelmer Durden, Jr., and Josey Cameron.

She is survived by: her husband; Harvey Meeks of Swainsboro

A son Ricky Smith of Swainsboro

3 Stepdaughters: Sherry Ripperger of Adrian

Dana Stanford of Adrian

Carla Johnson of Adrian

A sister; Myrtice Smith of Scott , Ga.

The family will receive friends, Thursday evening between the hours of 6 and 8 pm. at the Funeral Home.
