Betty C. Tapley, 85, resident of Swainsboro, died Thursday morning at Emanuel County Nursing Home. Betty was born in Emanuel County , daughter of the late Clint and Ollie Mae Tapley. She was also preceded in death by 4 brothers-- Howard Tapley, Dukes Tapley, Reginald Tapley and Kenneth Tapley. She was a beautician for many years. Betty was a member of Norristown Baptist Church .

Funeral services for Betty will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Hal Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Norristown . Pallbearers will be: Craig Williamson, Charles Flanders,Terry Quick, Lee Quick, and Chris Quick. The Family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home beginning at 12:00 noon on Saturday.
