Mrs. Betty Sue Sutton, 82, resident of Swainsboro, died Thursday morning at Scott Health and Rehabilitation Center .  Betty was born in Emanuel County , daughter of the late Ralph and Ruby Attaway Cooper.  She had retired from the Emanuel County Board of Education. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson ,  Brad Sutton.

Memorial services for Mrs. Betty Sutton will be held at 12:00 Noon on  Saturday , April 8,2017  from the chapel of Tomlinson  Funeral Home  with  Dr. Robert Blankenship and Reverend Paul Leigh officiating.  Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The Family will receive  friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home  one hour prior to the service.  A luncheon for the Family will be  held at First Baptist Church ,Swainsboro  after the Memorial service.
