March 3, 2014 Mrs. Betty Jean Samples, of Louisville, Ga. died Monday afternoon, March 3, 2014, at Vero Rehab Center in Wadley. Mrs. Samples was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, John H. and Bessie H. Hines, 4 sisters, June Miller, Evelyn Slater, Mable Kitchens, Iris Dukes, a brother, Freddie Dukes and a son, Larry Dukes. Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon at 3:00 pm. in the Chapel of Smith Funeral with Pastor Greg Davis officiating.The Family will receive friends at Smith Funeral Home one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Bethany Cemetery in Wadley. She is survived by: 2 daughters; Janice Burke of Millen Joydine Burke of Millen 2 Sons; Danny Daughtry of Perkins Huldra Daughtry of Millen 5 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home, on Saturday afternoon.
