Mrs. Betty Lou Hopkins, 82, resident of Norristown since 1961,  died Thursday morning at Scott Health and Rehab.  Betty was born in Herndon,Georgia , daughter of the late Dan and Cora Drew Canady. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Ray Hopkins,  a son Duane Hopkins, a brother Henry Canady, 2 sisters Margie Brown and Lorene Spence Wilson.   She was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. Mrs. Hopkins was a  homemaker .

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Hopkins will be held Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend  Morris Brantley  officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Norristown.  Pallbearers will be Jamie Keene, Dan Hopkins,Chris Hopkins, Tyler Hopkins ,Cole Rowland, Mac Rowland,  Bill Dominy, and Tommy Rowland.  The Family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home Saturday evening between the hours of 6-8 P.M.

Survivors include-- son and daughter-in-law--David Hopkins (Kathy)

daughter-in-law--Donita Hopkins

daughter- Donna Shirley(Allen)

daughter- Denise Beck(Keith)

Grandsons-- Dan Hopkins, Jamie Keene, Chris Hopkins

Granddaughters--Kimberly Rowland, Hope Dominy, Carrie Lackey, Breanna Collins, and Darah Bush.

sister-- Ruth Drake
