Bessie Ruth Dukes, 89, resident of Wadley, Georgia, died Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at her residence.  Mrs. Dukes was born in Emanuel County, daughter of the late Thomas Rachels and Geneva Bryant Rachels. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Theron (Jack) Dukes, son, Tommy Dukes and sisters, Joyce Braddy and Helen Wilkerson.  Mrs. Dukes was a member of Bethesda Primitive Baptist Church.  She enjoyed caring for her family and devotedly serving all who entered her home.

DUE TO WEATHER---SERVICES WILL BE HELD IN THE CHAPEL OF TOMLINSON FUNERAL HOME AT 11:00 A.M. SATURDAY MORNING !!!

Graveside services will be held Saturday , November 6, 2021  at 11:00 A.M. from Forest Lawn Cemetery in Dellwood  with Elder Emerson Proctor officiating. The Family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home Friday evening between the hours of 5-7 P.M.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethesda Primitive Baptist Church,  c/o  Kathy Ross, 567 Margaret Boulevard, Swainsboro, Georgia , 30401.
