2/05/13 Mrs. Barbara Ann Bowen, age 70, resident of Swainsboro, died Monday afternoon at St. Joseph's/Candler in Savannah. Mrs. Bowen was born in Emanuel County and had lived here all of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband David DeLee Bowen, her son, David DeLee Bowen,Jr. , her parents Cecil and Irene Roberson Edenfield, a brother, Donald Wayne Edenfield and a sister, Hazel Edenfield. Mrs. Bowen had worked for Daniel Chevrolet as a bookkeeper and had been a District Manager for Time Saver Stores. Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Ann Bowen will be held Thursday afternoon at 4:30 P.M. from the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Bedgood officiating. Interment will follow in the Swainsboro City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home Thursday afternoon from 3:30 P.M. until the service at 4:30 P.M. Pallbearers will be Keith Bell,Tim Harrell,Andy Coxwell,Wesley King,Jerry Jones,and Robbie Gilder. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Family of Mrs. Bowen to help with expenses.
