Mr. Andrew Frederick Cook, 80, resident of Metter, Georgia, died Saturday  (4/11/2020) at his residence.  Mr. Cook was born in Savannah,Georgia,  son of the late LTC. (ret.) Robert Walton Cook and Susie Mae Brinson Cook.  He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter- Angelia Cook Magill, step-daughter-Cynthia Bray, Step-son-Cory Leavell and step-daughter,  Ann Rigoli. Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his present  wife Jeanne Cook who died in 2019, and  his wife Elaine Cook who had died years ago.  Andrew was a United States Army Veteran,retiring with over 20 years as Chief Warrant Officer 3.  He had over 40 years combined Federal  service  active duty and Civil Service. He was  a member of the American Legion Post 0090, Statesboro,GA, a member of the Vidalia-Lyons Moose Club, and a member of the ARRL--Amateur Radio Call Sign WB4AZJ.  Mr. Cook was a member of Middleground  Primitive Baptist Church in Statesboro.

A memorial service will be held  Saturday, September 26,2020 at 2:00 P.M. from Immanuel Baptist Church, 7375 Hodgson Memorial Blvd., Savannah, Georgia 31406.   Memorials may be made to the  American Legion Post 0090, 21 Rucker Lane,  Statesboro, GA 30458,  or to Ogeechee Area Hospice, P.O. Box 531, Statesboro, GA 30459  in memory of Mr. Andrew Frederick Cook.
