October 17, 2014 Alice Imogene Walberg , age 89, Jefferson County native, died Friday morning in the Pierce County Nursing Home in Blackshear,GA. Mrs. Walberg was born in Wadley,GA daughter of the late James and Cora Dasher Paul. Alice was a registered Nurse and had worked in the medical field for many years . She was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Walberg. Mrs. Walberg was a member of Colemans Chapel United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 A.M. from Colemans Chapel United Methodist Church with Reverend Hugh Baxter officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10-11 A.M. on Tuesday morning.
