Mrs. Purvis was born in Johnson County, but had lived in Swainsboro all her life. She was a homemaker and attended Lamb's Chapel United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be Saturday morning at 11:00 am at Old Canoochee Cemetery, with Reverend Ray Freeman officiating. Pallbearers will be: Tommy Lamb, Jimmy Royal, Paul Purvis, Timmy Williams, Anthony Bennett, and Perry Stroud.
