Sonny, born in Swainsboro, had lived in Emanuel County before moving to Johnson County in 2003. He was a retired Supervisor for Owens Corning in Savannah, and was a member of Dellwood Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; Ralph C. and Katie Skinner Mills, 5 brothers; Hamon W., Luther B., Roy, Ralph Jr., and Otis Mills, and 2 sisters; Elizabeth Mills Lee, Mary Lou Paul. Memorials may be made to the Eastwood Church of God, P.O. box 723 Swainsboro, Ga. 30401, or to United Hospice, 667 South Main St. Swainsboro, Ga. 30401. Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home, with Reverend Bruce Flowers officiating. Interment will follow in the Mills Family Cemetery.
