Mr Adam C.Dowd, age 51 of Uvalda,Ga, has passed away after a brief illness on Jan 29th, 2025 at Community hospice of Vidalia,Ga.

He was a lifelong citizen of Toombs County & was an employee of Shoneys of Vidalia for many years. He was strong and fierce in his baptist faith. A man of many talents & hobbies, which included video games,  new experiences with food and a love of cooking.  He is preceded in death by both parents - Gene & Gerie Dowd.

He is survived by his loving wife Jessica Dowd of six years, His two brothers- Derek Johnson, & Cody Johnson ( of Macon, Ga), One Aunt Faith (Kent) Pennington, One Uncle Harry Tankersley ( of  Brunswick,Ga), Special Family Friend Terry May ( Of Alaska) and many extended family & friends.

Celebration of life services will be held at Cedar Crossing Baptist Church at 6pm on Feb.1st,2025.. Rev. Reece Mincey will be officiating services.
