Ken Tomlinson attended Georgia Southern University and graduated from Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in 1977. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer with over 30 years experience. He is a member and Past President of the Swainsboro Rotary Club and a member of the First United Methodist Church. He is married to Sharon Tomlinson. Ken owns and operates Tomlinson Funeral Home, Smith Funeral Home in Wadley,GA, Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Swainsboro, and Tomlinson Cremation Services.

Sharon Lumpkin Tomlinson, Vice President of Tomlinson Funeral Home
Sharon was born in Rome, Georgia in 1957. Her parents are Rev. and Mrs. Donald Lumpkin of Louisville, Georgia. Sharon is married to Ken Tomlinson. They have five children and two grandchildren. She is employed by the Georgia Department of Transportation.
Sharon enjoys cooking and working in her yard. She is at her best when cooking and waiting on the children and the grandchildren.

Rev. Louis Pearce, Administrative Assistant/Chaplain
Louis was born on December 21, 1944 to the late Levin and Lucy Pearce. He graduated from Perry High School in 1963. Louis married Mary Ann Barfield on Swainsboro. They have been married for the past 27 years with five children and twelve grandchildren. God called Louis to preach in 1972. He also works as an Apprentice Funeral Director and Embalmer for the past 16 years. Presently Louis is pastor of Morningside Baptist Church in Treutlen County.

Albert L. Thomas, Jr., Funeral Director Assistant
Albert was born in Louisville, Georgia April 30, 1940. He graduated from Louisville Academy in 1958. He attended Rhinhart College in Waleska, Georgia for 2 years. Albert severed in the United States Army for 5 years. He is married to Patricia Wells of Louisville, Georgia. They have 4 children and 9 grandchildren. Albert is a member of the Gideons International Association.

Anson Walden, Funeral Director Apprentice
Anson was born in Statesboro, Georgia July 27, 1989 to Ann and Andy Walden of Twin City, Georgia. Anson has two older brothers Athen and Aaron both of Twin City, Georgia. Anson graduated with honors from Emanuel County Institute in Twin City, Georgia in 2008. He is presently attending Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia majoring in business. Anson is a licensed Funeral Director Apprentice with plans to attend Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service after he completes his Apprentice of 18 months. Anson is a member of Elbethel Baptist Church in Twin City, Georgia.

Dot Waller West, Visitation
Dot was born January 7, 1938 in Twin City, Georgia to Julia and Ned Waller. Dot graduated from Swainsboro High School in 1956. She has two brothers, Charles and Ned Waller; two sisters, Donna Neal and Mary Coleman. Dot was married to Robert E. West in 1956 which later passed away in 1984. Four Children, Elizabeth Gilmer, Robert E. West, Jr, William R. West and James West, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Dot retired from AT&T in 1985.

Charles Atkinson, Visitation
Charles A. Atkinson, son of Robert Lee and Maggie Lane Alkinson, was born in Swainsboro, GA on November 23, 1938. After graduating from Swainsboro High School in 1956, he embarked on a career with the U.S. Army, retiring on April 1, 1979 with the rank of Master Sergeant (E-8). While statined in Philadelphia, PA as an Army Recruiter he attended night college working toward his business degree. After retiring from the Army he went to work with ARCO Oil Refinery in Philadelphia, PA and continued there until his sister, Frances Price,developed Multiple Sclerosis in 1987. He then returned to Swainsboro to assist with his family. He found employment with the Georgia Department of Correction until he retired in 2001.
He is married to the former Barbara Davis of Swainsboro. He has 3 sons and 4 grandchildren, 2 stepsons and 6 great grandchildren.
He is a member of Gideon's International and a past member of the Swainsboro Exchange Club. He is a deacon in his church, Morningside Baptist Church. He has been employed with Tomlinson Funeral Home since December 2001.

Helen Hardiman, Musician
Helen was born October 11, 1957 to A.J. and Anna Maude Saunders in Statesboro, Georgia. Helen graduated from Statesboro High School in 1976. She is married to Bill Hardiman where they currently reside in Metter Georgia. They have one son, William Hardiman.
Helen has been playing the piano in church for the past 34 years where she is currently the pianist at Friendship Freewill Baptist Church in Twin City, Georgia. Helen has worked for Tomlinson Funeral Home for the past 13 years.
